A vector art image is created by the numerical coordinates that are contained within the EPS file. Vector artwork can be scaled up or down to any size without the loss of resolution and are much smaller files than raster (bitmapped) files.
Vector images also allow you to edit individual elements and change color palettes with ease. Many print shops, sign companies and promotional product distributors require vector art files. Most prefer eps files created with Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.
Bitmap images are made up of pixels, and cannot be scaled up effectively-they become jagged. Most bitmap file formats are jpg, tif or gif. These file formats are not acceptable for quality print jobs.
We can redraw any logo or graphic into vector format. If you have a fuzzy jpg or even an old business card or scan, we can help. All we need from you is a scan or copy of the image to be cleaned up into vector art format.
Vector conversion is done manually and not through an automated process. This ensures that your logo is at the highest quality. The final files are sent back to you in .eps and .pdf formats. The EPS file is what you will send to your printer for reproduction. The PDF file is for you to proof. We can also supply a clean jpg for in-house use if you want.
Our prices start at $15.00 for a very simple logo, $30 for most logos and $60 for more complicated logos.
